List Building The One Mistake You Dont Want To Make

I often get asked by my subscribers how to build a list. They read all over the internet that "the money is in the list." It is almost a cliché because of its wide spread use. If it is so important how does one go about doing it?

The number one mistake I see newbie's and some veterans do is not focusing on building their list but instead focusing on making sales. Here is the the problem with that way of thinking. You get one shot at making the sale and that generally translates to 1-2% on average.

When you have the opportunity to follow up with people using an autoresponder you can increase you conversion ratio to 20-30% or more. In some cases I have heard the conversion ratios over 80%.

So How do you capture email address and build your list? You sell it more that anything else you do. All your advertising and marketing is geared first to capture their information and second to sell them. Using techniques like this I was able to make a list of over 12,000 in less than 30 days with a brand new site. Just take the time to into making a big list and before you know it you would be able to stop it from growing.
